W.A.L.T: To make a poster about Matariki.
I enjoyed finding pictures and facts about Matariki.
The hardest bit was writing the information onto the poster.

My map of NZ
This is NZ. We were learning about it and had some questions to answer. We had questions about where things are and what has happened in the past, e.g, the Kaikoura earthquake.

My paper plane
W.A.L.T: Design a paper plane with a buddy, and then make a spreadsheet about how it flew. My buddy was Lucy.
The most challenging bit was folding it correctly, and trying to come up with a design.
My favorite bit was throwing it because we challenged each other.
This is our plane, the Airslicer 2000.
My mini house
W.A.L.T: To make and draw the inside of a mini house.
I found this challenging because not all of the furniture fit inside the first time, so I had to change things around.
My favorite bit was drawing and coloring in, even though it was challenging.
This is the inside of my mini house.
This is the outside of my mini house.

My MyMaps of Wellington
We learned how to use Google MyMaps and then we got to look closely at our own environment and locate landmarks. For each landmark we found we had to name it, write something about it and find an image of it so that the pin on our map had information on it. This is my finished map of Wellington. Have you ever used MyMaps to locate places in your community?
