Activity 2. The right to an education.
Turtle invent jetpacks

One day, Turtle was walking along the street, when a red blur hurtled straight past him. It was Fox! Turtle slowly ran up to him. "Why do you always run so fast!" he panted. "Why do you always run so slow!" chuckled Fox. Turtle grumbled. Then he had a bright idea! He would create something even Fox couldn't keep up with! You see, Turtle was an inventor. That's why his shell was always on his back. It was one of his inventions. He turned around and went home. Through the night, his neighbors could hear banging and clanking. Here we go again, they thought. The next day, when Fox was making his daily run around the neighborhood, a green blur sped straight past him. He was so surprised that he skidded to a stop. Was that what he thought it was? it couldn't be! It was Turtle, with a new invention on his back. He stopped in front of Fox and waved. Then he was gone.
The end.

Week 2. Day 2. Activity 3. "I have a dream".

Activity 3. "I have a dream".
The problem is that white people are being treated better than black people, even though they shouldn't be treated better. Rosa Parks thought that it wasn't fair so in 1955 she reacted and got sent to jail for "refusing to listen to the law". When she was arrested, all the other black people refused to travel on buses so that the buses were empty. In 1956, the law was finally changed so that black people had to be treated the same as white people.

Week 2. Day 1. Activity 3. Dear Jacinda.

Activity 3. Dear Jacinda.

Dear Jacinda,
I strongly believe that we should have a reusing plastic deposit somewhere in New Zealand. We could also have a Compost truck in most regions and start a new soft plastics company.

A reusing plastic deposit would be better for the environment because we would be recycling things. People could deposit milk bottles, egg cartons, and all those things, and we could give them to companies and they could reuse them for more milk and more eggs. It would also be good because then we could stop making plastic for all the products and spend less money. Other countries might catch on to the idea and then they would start having their own reusing plastics deposit.

Also, compost trucks could go alongside the rubbish trucks and recycling trucks. A lot of our rubbish could actually be recycled or composted, and it would be a lot better for our natural environment.

We could also start up another soft plastics company, where we turn all soft plastics into useful objects, like benches for communities and tables and chairs for schools, that way, we still have all our useful objects, but it is recycled from soft plastic.

All of this will help the environment survive, and also help us survive.

Week 2. Day 1. Activity 2. No name.

Activity 2. No name
If she was born on the 7th of April, 1985, and she got the award on the 9th of July 2010, then there was 25 years in between her birth date and her award reception. This means she was 25 when she received her award. The difference between April the 7th and July 7th is 3 months and the difference between 7 and 9 is 2. So the answer is 25 yrs, 3 months and 2 days!
Was I correct?
