How to play Shark Attack!

This is my video on how to play Shark Attack. Shark Attack is a fun game that is a bit like Farmer Farmer, Run Chicken Run, and Seaweed Tag. I didn't want to talk in my video, so I just used words. I also didn't want any people because trying to record was hard. In the end, all I used was WeVideo, and some of my previous videos. To be BTB, I could have made it a bit more interesting. I added a bit of a quirk at the end, but when I actually made the video, it wasn't near Christmas, so in the end, I just postponed the video.
I hope you learned how to play Shark Attack, and have a very merry Christmas!

My cyber face

This is my cyber face. I made it with polyline on a google drawing. We had to draw one side of our face but keep the other side. It was fun drawing the face, but it was hard to pick a color for the skin because it wouldn't match up properly. Next time to be BTB, I could make my face more curved.

Transformation with grids

Today we found an accredited image on Explore and selected it to use on our page. We then put a 5x5 grid on it so we could copy the image and make it original. Mrs. Minehan selected the first two images so we could understand the process, then we got to choose our own image.
I found the first one kind of hard, because I couldn't get the lines straight.
The second one was a tree and it was very challenging because of the shape and the shading.
I chose the image of a moon for the other one because I had to shade bits and get the shape perfect.
Have you ever tried to transform an image using a grid? How did you find the process? Was it hard?

My MyMaps of Wellington

We learned how to use Google MyMaps and then we got to look closely at our own environment and locate landmarks. For each landmark we found we had to name it, write something about it and find an image of it so that the pin on our map had information on it. This is my finished map of Wellington. Have you ever used MyMaps to locate places in your community?

CAMP_REFLECT O' MUSICCAMP(2).mp3

We made the music so we could remember Wellington camp in a cool and different way. We had to describe each activity with music, so I chose fun colorful music. I hope you enjoy it!

Pixelated Me.

WALT: Make a drawing using drawing tools on google drawing.
The challenging bit was making the eyes because I had to make it really small.

What we did for Matariki

We have been learning about Matariki. We have done it in Writing, Art, Maths, Matariki, Cybersmart, Literacy and in Roleplays. My favourite learning so far has been making stars for Art and Maths, because they were combined.  I also loved the Roleplays. My group was a bit silly but we all had fun in the end. For Literacy, we just read books about space so it was a bit boring and for writing, we created storyboards about a Matariki book that we read. For Cybersmart, your looking at it right now!!
